With the holiday season and its festivities fast approaching, the tradition of the ‘Switching on of the Christmas Street lights’ will take place across the Overstrand Municipality.
“Gansbaai’s electrical department is already hard at work, putting up the iconic and colourful Christmas lights in Main Road.
“Come and join in the celebration and also catch the festive cheer,” said Overstrand Municipality spokesperson, Riana Steenekamp.
The dates and times for Christmas Lights switch-on are:
- Friday, 30 November from 19:00 in Gansbaai,
- Saturday, 8 December from 18:00 in Kleinmond, and
- Friday, 7 December from 18:00 in Hermanus.
